WATER supply to end users in several areas in Manggatal was interrupted recently to pave the way for work to dismantle several illegal pipe connections in Kampung Gudon, according to the Sabah Water Department. The supply to the areas was affected from noon on March 18 due to the work to dismantle the mild steel cement lining pipe (MSCL) in that village. Among the affected areas were Kampung Kembirian, Kampung Gudon, Taman Richdar and Kampung Dambai, as well as neighbouring villages along Jalan Tuaran.

SABAH Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) is still waiting for the Penampang District Council to submit its application to take over the ownership of the account for the streetlights in front of Surian Residences at Jalan Kobusak, in Nosoob. It is learnt that several of the facilities in front of the condo units have not been functioning for more than a month. The Council had initially claimed that it has submitted a request to SESB to take over the account from the developer firm.
