Khairul-Jason to be the main event at JFL semis

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's first ever mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament, the Jesselton Fight League (JFL) is heading into its semi-final stage this Saturday (today) at the Foo Chow Hall in Luyang starting from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.A total of fourteen bouts are lined up for the members of the public to witness as tickets are sold at RM25 each.The Main Event of the night is a Featherweight bout between Team NOMAD's Khairul Anuar and Sarawakian, Jason Law of Gym Box Kuching while there are three other Co-Main Events scheduled.

Jason's teammate, Karimov Ahmadjon will be looking to reach the Final of the Bantamweight category but standing in his way is KMMA's Md Hasbullah.Former Malaysian boxer, Eddy Kalai will be looking to continue his recent good form against Faizal Dzid after performing brilliantly during last week's Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA) Championship in Kuala Lumpur.The female warriors are also rock and ready to rumble as Team Karabaw Sipitang fighter, Nur Sakinah will face Valerian R from SST in the Strawweight class.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
