Team Charter emerge overall champions

Kota Kinabalu: Team Charter was crowned overall champion of the 57th Sabah College Annual Athletics Championship 2015 held at Likas Stadium on Thursday.The champion racked up 26 gold, 24 silver and 19 bronze medals while second place went Team Colony who finished the championship with a haul of 19 gold, 13 silver and 11 bronze medals.

Team Gaya took third place by collecting 16 gold, 14 silver and 23 bronze medals while completing the standings was Team Sabah with 12 gold, 22 silver and 20 bronze medals.

Team Charter received another good news when Florina Pearl Yabin was awarded the Overall Sportswoman Award after winning four gold medals on her own.

Overall Sportsman Award went to Caltinus of Team Colony for his five gold medals achievement to help his team securing the first runners-up spot.

The closing ceremony was officiated by State Baitulmal Corporation (PBNS) General Manager, Ratnawati Datuk Hj Osman. Also present at the ceremony was Sabah College Principle, Nuinda Haji Alias.
