15 nations for this year's Folklore Fest

Kota Kinabalu: A total of 15 countries have confirmed their participation in the Sabah International Folklore Festival (SIFF) 2015, from Aug 10 to 15.State Tourism, Culture and Environment assistant minister Datuk Kamarlin Ombi said this 10th SIFF would witness an increased number of participation from other countries."Last year, we received participation in folk dance category from 12 countries, and this year the number has increased to 15 countries," he told reporters after paying a courtesy call to the Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at the Istana Negeri here, today.
