Kota Kinabalu: Posters advertising loan shark services and traffic congestions were among concerns raised by residents during a police meet-and-greet session held at the Foh Sang parking lot in Luyang, here, on Thursday. The two-hour session, which ended at about noon, involved 10 officers and 27 personnel from the city police headquarters. Also present was Luyang Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sub-Inspector Abdul Samad Sumadi.

Crime Prevention and Community Safety Division Chief DSP Kalsom Idris said they received encouraging support from Luyang residents who took the opportunity to meet with the police.

A total of 120 and 150 residents, including MCA Wanita Chief Datuk Agnes Shim and MCA Luyang Assemblyman Hiew King Cheu, attended the programme which received one report over traffic issues, one for commercial and nine for other concerns.

Eleven people also registered as Rakan Cop, while 15 people checked for traffic summonses.

Kalsom said all the concerns will be channelled to the relevant divisions for further action.
