Fifth arrest over the 1MDB probe

Putra Jaya: A despatch rider is the fifth individual to be remanded to assist in the investigation into the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) issue. The four-day remand order beginning Sunday on the 27-year-old man was issued by Magistrate Nik Isfahanie Tasnim Wan Ab Rahim at the Magistrate's Court here.According to an official of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) when met at the court, the remand order aimed to assist investigation under Section 16(a) of the MACC Act 2002 for accepting a bribe.
