Tanjung Manis to get more infrastructure projects under 11MP

Sarawak: More infrastructure projects will be built under the 11th Malaysia Plan here following the restructuring of development plans at the integrated port area.Sarawak Second Minister of Resource Planning and Environment, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah, said the new infrastructure projects included an administrative centre for Tanjung Manis, housing projects, shipbuilding site, furniture cluster industry and additional roads."Therefore, I hope that adequate funding is channelled into the 11MP to implement these projects and boost Tanjung Manis as a major economic growth centre in Sarawak's central region," he said this at a ground-breaking ceremony of an palm oil storage facility here Monday.
