Still calling for entries

Kota Kinabalu: Registrations are still open to all snooker enthusiasts who are interested to participate in the upcoming 8th TKC Invitational Snooker Championship and stand the chance to win RM5,700 in cash prizes.According to organising spokesperson, Patrick Ng, around 45 players from all over the State have confirmed their participation for the eight-day championship and they are awaiting more entries."As the organising committee, I am looking forward to receiving registration from interested players before the official closing date on September 10 as the draw will be made on September 13," he said.

The championship is organised by The Kinabalu Club (TKC), to be held at its clubhouse near Padang Merdeka here from September 20 to 27.The champion for the tournament will take home RM2,500 in cash and the losing finalist will get RM1,200 while joint third place will each get RM500."The four losing quarter-finalists will earn RM250 while the organiser has agreed to offer up to four best player awards for the tournament," said Patrick.The championship also has prepared two novelty prizes where the player with the Highest Score (over 70 points) will win RM500 while those managing to register the Highest Century Score (over 100 points) will take home RM800.
