Earlier, deputy public prosecutor Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin applied for postponement of the sentencing to Sept 9, to enable the prosecution to prepare the facts of the case.

Counsel Amir Khusyairi Mohamad Tanusi and Nasrul Hadi bertindak who were representing Mohamad Yusoffe, and Nor Rabiatul Bahari, who was representing Mohd Syafrien, did not object to the application as they also needed time to prepare the mitigation for their clients.

The court set Sept 9 for facts and mitigation before sentencing.
