Kota Kinabalu: The Federation of Sabah Industries (FSI) has called the Sabah industrialists to switch to compressed natural gas (CNG), in light of the high costs of production for Sabah businesses.FSI also lauds the initiatives by SEC to provide the cost-saving alternative, which is a cleaner, safer and cheaper energy source supplied through its virtual pipeline system.

"Some existing customers have even testified to better quality products from using CNG," said SEC CEO, Datuk Harun Ismail during a courtesy call, recently.

The purpose of the courtesy call was to get to know the members better, to listen and to understand their concerns and to gather feedback as to how FSI can serve them better.

Members were also briefed on the vision, mission and objectives of FSI and the events and activities of present and near future by FSI new line-up that consist largely of young and dynamic business people and professionals.

The networking was also part of FSI's effort in grooming younger generation for future leadership in FSI.
