Our veterans grab 33 gold medals in Singapore

Kota Kinabalu: Chung Yun Khiong was the toast of the team with five gold and one silver medals as Sabah veteran athletes grabbed a total of 33 gold, nine silver and six bronze medals at the Singapore Masters Open 2015 held over the weekend despite the appalling air pollution index and marathon journey.Team leader, Aliudin Jumaat said it was one of their best ever performance in overseas championships despite of the long sleepless journey and tired bodies."I am really proud of their fighting spirit. The tiring journey for the seven men and nine women team started at Kota Kinabalu airport with flight to Johor delayed followed by cancellation due to the haze.
