Keningau: Sabah Reform Movement (APS) Vice President Paul Kadau was saddened that the construction of the district's Native Court, a symbol of the Momogun community, was not completed by the contractor. "We are sad that the construction site is left in its current condition," he said after visiting the site.He said an officer with the Public Works Department (PWD) informed him that the work was abandoned because the contractor had financial problem as well as other problems, prompting the department to terminate the contract in March."I was also told that the authority is processing documents to re-tender the contract through selective contractor or open tender in order to continue the project. Therefore I would suggest that priority be given to local contractors because the contract is in Keningau," he said.
