Mokhtar's widow confident national squad will bounce back

PETALING JAYA: The widow of Malaysian football great, the late Mokhtar Dahari (Datuk), expressed confidence that the national football squad can return to its winning ways.Datin Tengku Zarina Tengku Ibrahim said the blaming game for the poor state of Malaysian football in recent years should stop."No need to point fingers at any party. I am sure with the right people in place, Malaysian football will bounce back," she said when asked to comment on the performance of the national squad after the final of the Dato' Mokhtar Dahari Cup at the PKNS Sports Complex in Kelana Jaya here, Sunday.SMK Tinggi Kajang won the Mokhtar Dahari Cup after beating SMK Meru Klang 1-0 in the final.
