Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Publishing House Sdn Bhd has been honoured, together with four other organisations in the State, with the Employees Provident Fund's 2015 Employer of the Year Award. The award is for organisations who the EPF have judged to have been exemplary employers who abided fully with the requirements of the Employees Provident Fund Act 1991 for 2015.

The other organisations honoured during the event on Monday were Hyatt Kinabalu International, Nisson Engineering Supplies, Pharmex Sdn Bhd and Royal Sabah Turf Club.

The award presentation was held at the EPF hall at Block A, EPF building in Karamunsing here.

According to EPF (Kota Kinabalu Office) State Enforcement Chief, Thien Vui Nyiap, EPF will always strive to provide its best service (to its customers) and said that financial planning services were also available free to EPF members who have reached retirement age and considering withdrawing their funds.

"This is because there are many cases of EPF members who have used up their savings within five years after their employment retirement. Hence our financial planning consultant can assist them to plan their retirement properly," he said.
