Suspected pusher nabbed in P'pang

Penampang: An unemployed man believed involved in substance abuse was nabbed by police in an "Ops Tapis" raid at an apartment here, last Saturday. The 22-year-old local Chinese is also suspected to be a drug pusher in several areas in the district after several types of drugs worth about RM1,635 were seized from him. District Police Chief DSP Rosley Hobden (pic) said prompted by tip-off, a team from the Narcotics Department raided the premises at about 10am where they arrested the man.

Also confiscated from the man were 18 Ecstasy pills weighing 5.4 grammes, 19 Erimin-5 pills weighing 5.3 grammes and 5.7 grammes of Ketamin found in his sling bag. He said the man was also found positive for various types of drugs and that the case is being investigated under Section 39A (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
