Interport Balut C'ship in Sandakan

Sandakan: The 35th STC Interport Balut Championship 2015, a prestigious Balut event in the Asia Pacific region, will take place here tomorrow (Saturday).The event is organised by Sandakan Yacht Club (SYC) for the first time here and will see a total of participation of 104 players from Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore.According to SYC Commodore, Daniel Liaw, SYC won the bid to host the event during the championship in Singapore last year.

The competition venue is Four Points by Sheraton Sandakan.Karamunting Assemblyman Charles O Pang will attend the welcoming dinner while State Assistant Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Pang Yuk Ming is the guest of honour for the closing ceremony.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
