The appointment would provide with opportunities to be exposed to development in innovation technology and their application to administration of township/city with the aim of developing these centres to better liveable places.ADVERTISEMENT He said, as suggested by the name of the company, the focus would be not only in Labuan but also Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. "The point here is we are included and given equal importance by the Ministry."He said experts in innovation technology would provide the inputs which would include advice and guidance for orderly development of the centre and in a clean, healthy manner good for both living and working.Adding on to this, Rozman said LC was in the midst of preparing the draft of the new economic development plan for Labuan. As such, the formation of the company and his appointment was timely as he could get proposals for consideration and incorporation into the plan.Among the initial projects in mind was to make the island cyclist friendly and this was not just by having stretches of road for bikers. He said "bike stations" would be established. At the station, a biker could get a bike of his choice using a smart card and return the bike to the station after use.ADVERTISEMENT Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
