Kota Kinabalu: A weak earthquake measuring 2.1 on the Richter scale hit Ranau at 9.22am, Friday. According to Sabah Meteorological Department Director Malek Tussin, the tremor was the 132nd aftershock following the 6.0-magnitude deadly earthquake which lasted for 30 seconds and claimed 18 lives on Mount Kinabalu last year."It is normal to have so many aftershocks following a big earthquake. Sometimes, these could continue for one or two years," he said.
