Kuala Lumpur: Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai on Friday denied a report claiming that the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 pilot had been found and was being treated in a hospital in Taiwan. "The ministry will provide updates on MH370 from time to time. Any information regarding MH370 must be referred to us," he told reporters here.

"Do not speculate," Liow said after witnessing the signing of a memorandum of agreement between Shell and Miros, the Malaysian institute of road safety research.

The portal worldnewsdailyreport.com had claimed that MH370 captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah was found unconscious on the banks of Tangshui River by villagers who brought him to the Taipei Adventist Hospital.

It also published a photograph of Malaysian Deputy Director-General of Health Dr Jeyaindran Sinnadurai, who was wrongly identified as Dr Syed Boon Sulong.

The Malaysian consulate in Taiwan has confirmed that the report is false.
