Duo jailed for having stolen m-bikes

Kota Kinabalu: Two men were sentenced to 10 months' jail each for having stolen motorcycles.Self-employed Mohd Fizul Umar, 35, admitted before Magistrate Jessica Ombou Kakayun to having one Prianggono Setia Pamukas Surdeb's motorcycle at 7.15am on April 7 at Kg Lok Kawi Baru, Putatan.Gardener Rashid Sidin pleaded guilty to having a motorcycle belonging to one Amir Faizal at 3.30pm on April at Kg Raganan, Tuaran.ADVERTISEMENT Both had committed an offence under Section 411 of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of between six months and five years and liable to a fine on conviction.They respectively requested for leniency saying they have family to support.Meanwhile, Fizul was also charged with taking syabu.However, no plea was recorded from him while waiting for the chemist's report.ADVERTISEMENT Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
