PETALING JAYA: A total of 1.5 million individual customers who opt for salary deduction via the Credit and Banking Services Division (BPKP) of the Malaysia Co-operative Movement (Angkasa) will receive rewards in the form of discounts, vouchers and insurance worth up to RM20,000. Angkasa president Datuk Abdul Fattah Abdullah said this inaugural programme was initiated to reward individual customers who used BPKP as service provider.

"This is the first time we have done this, we have never given rewards to customers," he told reporters after launching the Customer Loyalty Programme for Individual Customers of Angkasa salary deduction scheme here.

Abdul Fattah said the two categories of customers registered with Angkasa involved salary deduction of 1.5 million individual customers.

"The first category involves customer organisations which generate products such as financing and insurance whereas the second are employer organisations which are paying centres for Angkasa."

Abdul Fattah said for the first reward category, the individual customers with deductions will receive a Petronas/Angkasa Mesra Card with discounts and vouchers from selected partners such as Zalora, Petrosains (Resort World Sentosa), AAM, Lost World Hotel and Twin Tours Fitness Centre.

"Other rewards include 150 bonus points for new and replacement Mesra and for every purchase of one litre of fuel, customers will be given one Mesra point, including for those who purchase items priced at RM1 at Mesra convenience stores, apart from exclusive invitation to events organised by Petronas. – Bernama
