Two men charged with stealing milk

Kota Kinabalu: Two men were charged in the Magistrate's Court with stealing four cartons of milk worth RM537.Azmi Mohd Ayub and Mohd Afifi Nanun pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie to the charge against them on Wednesday.The duo are accused of stealing the items belonging to a 67-year-old man at 6.50pm on April 27 this year in front of a grocery in Putatan.

The offence, under Section 379/34 of the Penal Code, carries a jail term of up to seven years, or fine, or both, on conviction.The court set June 2 for case management and released them on a bail of RM3,000 in two sureties each.Meanwhile, in another case, Aziman Hassan was charged with having 12.10gm of cannabis.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

However, no plea was recorded from Aziman who allegedly had the drug at 4.30pm on April 28 this year at a house in Kg Likas.

His case would be re-mentioned on June 14 and Aziman was granted bail of RM2,500 in two sureties.
