Julian appointed assistant team manager

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Karate Association Secretary General Julian Chin has been appointed as the assistant team manager for the national team in the Vietnam Open Karate Championship 2016 which started on Tuesday until Friday (May 27) at the Sport Training and Competition centre in Thanh Hoa province.Also in the team are two Sabahan exponents representing the country with Richard Mattan competing in the junior category and Audrey Japyus in the senior category.

They are among the 24 athletes in the squad and also in the contingent for the four-day meet are delegation leader Datuk Sri Mohd Noor Nordin, team manager Nik Ismail Rashed and coaches Andris Vasiljevs, Hany Keshta and Mahendran.
