Kota Kinabalu: A 37-year-old man was on Tuesday charged with having 31gm of syabu.Henry John Lajanga pleaded not guilty before Sessions Court Judge Noor Hafizah Mohd Salim to having the drug at 11am on May 10 this year at a house in Taman Putatan Baru, Putatan.The offence under Section 39A(2)® of the Dangerous Drugs Act (DDA) carries a jail term of between five years and life imprisonment, and at least ten strokes of the cane, on conviction.
