MRCB tenders for RM8 billion worth of projects

PETALING JAYA: Property and construction company, Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB), is currently tendering for projects worth about RM8 billion, Executive Director Mohd Imran Tan Sri Mohamad Salim said Tuesday."In the last twelve months we have grown our order book to over RM4 billion in construction jobs and we are now pitching for larger infrastructure jobs," he said after the company's annual general meeting here today. To-date, MRCB's construction order book stood at RM5.4 billion.Meanwhile, Chief Operating Officer Kwan Joon Hoe said the company was targeting RM1 billion in property sales this year, higher than the RM850 million worth of properties sold in 2015. "From the RM3.2 billion projects launched in the past few years, we have unbilled properties worth RM1.4 billion," said Kwan.Currently, MRCB has a land bank of 166 hectares worth an estimated RM50 billion in gross development value. – Bernama
