Stop raising renaming KLIA2 issue, Liow tells AirAsia

Putra Jaya: Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai had urged AirAsia to stop raising the issue of renaming the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2).He said the matter was a non-issue and reiterated the Government's stand that it would not be changed."It is a non-issue. The airline should not muddle the two issues - airport name and their promotion exercise as a low-cost carrier. The two are different matters," he said after presenting MCA's contribution worth RM100,000 to the Malaysia Sinology Association, Friday.
