Afzal CIMB's new independent director

Kuala Lumpur: CIMB Group Holdings Bhd Friday announced the appointment of Afzal Abdul Rahim as independent director of CIMB Bank Bhd, effective June 29, 2016.CIMB Group Chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak said Afzal was a proven entrepreneur with experience in the telecommunication and technology sectors and would definitely bring new perspectives to the board and the group as a whole.

Afzal Abdul Rahim is currently the Director and Chief Executive Officer of TIME dotCom Bhd. – Bernama
