Johor Sultan wins 'F1' with RM836,660

Putra Jaya: The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar has won a bid to secure the highly sought after 'F1' vehicle number plate.The ruler made a winning bid of RM836,660 for the plate number.The bid was followed by the F2 registration plate which went forRM 514, 800; F9 (RM404,800 ) and F7 (RM396,000).

The Transport Ministry's Vehicle Licensing Division announced the winning bids at 3pm Friday.The Road Transport Department (RTD) had previously anticipated that the new vehicle registration number for Putrajaya, 'F1' could fetch a record amount, even up to RM1 million in bids.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
