You've shown the world of Rotary that we have capable women in Sabah.ADVERTISEMENT "I was informed that you have been awarded the Presidential Citation Gold Award. What an achievement for a club about a year old," she said.More importantly, she said, the lady Rotarians have served the less fortunate in many ways in the true spirit of Rotary. "You dewormed needy children. You gave young girls bakery skills, making it possible for them to venture into business. You donated to the Mt Kinabalu quake victims in Ranau. You helped fire victims and brought food for the hungry in the 'Stop Hunger Now' project (involving other Rotary Clubs too). You contributed necessities to underprivileged children in the interior.ADVERTISEMENT "You brought good citizenship among your members, your families and other Rotary Clubs. You went on to build international friendships with Rotarians in our neighbouring country, the Philippines," Jainab said.
