Man killed, another seriously hurt in Tawau mishap

Tawau: A man was killed and another seriously injured when the Proton Iswara they were in collided with a lorry trailer at Mile 22, Jalan Apas here, on Thursday. The Fire and Rescue Department identified the deceased as Asmuni Said,45, who succumbed to his injuries after being trapped in the vehicle driven by him, while the seriously injured has been identified as a 16-year-old boy. Five personnel from the Tawau Fire and Rescue Station led by Kasdi Latimi arrived at the scene at about 5.07pm after receiving a distress call.
