Kota Kinabalu: It was another heartbreak for Sabah Rhinos when they went down 3-1 to Selangor PKNS FC in their Premier League match at the Likas Stadium, here, on Friday. The visiting team showed their dominance with a better start and was rewarded with the opening goal by their import Juan Manuel Guerra as early as six minutes into the game.

Their positive energy wasn't wasted as they relentlessly drilled the home team's defence line.

PKNS FC once again managed to penetrate the Rhinos flimsy backline to score the second goal through another import Matias Nicholas Hadwa in the 20th minute.

The Rhinos obtained their solitary goal of the night when PKNS' Mohd Nizam Abu Bakar scored an own goal during a chaotic situation near the goal posts.

The score remained 2-1 until the end of the first half.

The tempo was upbeat, especially for Johnny Dominicus' boys as they were eager to level the score at the start of the second half.

But it didn't take long for PKNS to make it 3-1 when Gabril Miguel Guerra easily slotted into an unguarded goal in the 65th minute to the dismay of some 1,600 home fans.

The Rhinos' line up for the match was Alto Linus, Igor Serina, Mohd Azizan Nordin, Dedi Kusnandar, Jenius Karib, Leopold Alfonso Otong, Shafuan Adli Shaari, Ummareng Bacok, Maxsius Musa, Muamer Salibasic and the posts were manned by Rozaimie Rohim.

They currently have 11 points with three wins from 14 matches. Their next match will be against KL Sime Darby FC in an away game on July 25.
