British engineer fined RM100 for abusive language

Kuala Lumpur: A British engineer was fined RM100 by the Magistrate's Court here Friday after he pleaded guilty to using abusive language on a policeman last week.Magistrate Siti Radziah Kamarudin also ordered that the accused, Morgan Aled, 50, be imprisoned for 14 days if he failed to pay the fine.Morgan was charged with using abusive and rude words which were insulting on a policeman at the towing unit of the Traffic Police Station, Jalan Tun H. S. Lee, at 12.30am on July 17.
