Man found hanged in Tawau

Tawau: A man was found hanged from a ceiling fan at a workers' quarters in an oil palm plantation at Bombalai, here, Friday.District Police Chief ACP Fadil Marsus said the 28-year-old jobless single was found at 10.08pm.

"The body has been sent to the hospital here for further investigation," he said.

He said a police team rushed to the scene upon being alerted by one of the workers who discovered the body inside the quarters.

"At the moment, the case is classified as sudden death and investigation is still ongoing," he said.
