AWC bags RM12m Cyberjaya project

Kuala Lumpur: AWC Bhd has bagged a RM12.67 million infrastructure-related contract for an education hub in Cyberjaya.The sub-contract, secured via wholly-owned unit, M&C Engineering and Trading Sdn Bhd, will commence immediately with a targeted completion date of Aug 17, 2017, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia Tuesday.

"The contract is, among others, to execute and complete the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation services and electrical and lightning protection services," it said.

It said the project was for the construction of a private college on a piece of land measuring approximately 1.62 hectares.

AWC said when completed, the facility will house an administration block, an academic block with comprehensive facilities, cafe, library and surau. – Bernama
