Kota Kinabalu: Those interested in improving their writing skills in English are welcome to join monthly sessions at the Sabah Society's Sabah/Damai office to share their writing with other members."Some write memoirs, some write poems, scripts and others do a bit of travel writing. Writers listen to articles read to others for comments," said spokeswoman Faridah Shukoor.

Everything is free except the cost of using the premises. Coffee and tea are provided.The writers have not met for the past one year and are encouraged to take part in competitions with other groups overseas when writing groups contact them through email.
Writers meet at 7pm on either Tuesday or Thursday usually at the end of the month when the room is available. Ring Sabah Society at 088-250443 or 088-428177.
