Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak said that national sovereign fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) does not have any assets in the United States and is not directly involved in the US Department of Justice's (DOJ) civil suit.Speaking to reporters after chairing an Umno Supreme Council meeting, Najib said this is because 1MDB was not approached for information by the DOJ."This shows that 1MDB is not directly involved in the complaint.
