CMS Infra Trading signs EAA with IPV distributors

Kuching: CMS Infra Trading Sdn Bhd has signed an Exclusive Agency Agreement (EAA) with IPV Distributors Sdn Bhd for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of IPVLED (Heavy Duty LED) for the Sarawak market only.CMS Infra Trading is a Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd (CMS) joint-venture company with the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation.CMS in a statement said the agreement aims to establish, develop and optimise the Heavy Duty LED lighting business in Sarawak and Sabah, especially in the niche market such as High Mast, High Bay, stadiums and street lightings.

CMS Infra Trading acts as an agent and distributor of a wide range of products and services related to water management, including a variety of water pipes such as high density polyethylene pipes (HDPE), ductile iron, mild steel cement lined (MSCL) pipes, mild steel polyurethane (MSPU) lined pipes & fittings, diverse water treatment chemicals, as well as water pipe installation and reservoir cleaning systems. IPV Distributors meanwhile, is involved in distributing, marketing, installing & commissioning of miscellaneous electrical equipment, including lighting equipment for the Southeast Asian Markets.Signing on behalf of CMS Infra Trading was Datuk Richard Curtis, Group Managing Director of CMS and on behalf of IPV Distributors was its Chairman, Ibrahim Hashim."This initiative is also to support the government's call for Malaysia to be a Green Technology Hub by 2030," the statement said.
