Controversial rapper remanded 4 days

GEORGE TOWN: Controversial rapper Nam Wee has been remanded for four days beginning Monday to facilitate investigation on a video clip shot at a mosque in Tanjung Bunga, here, which allegedly insulted Islam. The remand order was issued by the Assistant Registrar of the Subordinate Courts (Criminal) Tajuddin Ahmad Zaini.The 33-year-old local singer and director arrived at the remand division at 10.23am and came out from the division at 10.41am.
