Kota Kinabalu: A waitress in an upmarket restaurant here was splashed by a customer who was upset over the slow service on Sunday.It happened before the customer's husband and two children (pic).The woman also threw food on the table at the waitress. The incident was captured on the restaurant's CCTV.

The victim lodged a police report on the incident.The waitress said the customer's bowl of noodles was already served but her order of french fries, later could not be served quickly as there were many others.
The victim told police she lodged the report for fear of her safety in case the customer returns, and that she was humiliated by the customer's action. The video clip attracted thousands of comments from netizens, many of whom praised the waitress for her patience.
