More support for Press Night

Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA) received strong support from its honorary advisors Li Su Fook and Phang Jyn Yenn for the Press Night today (Wednesday). Phang is also the Sabah branch chairman of the National Association of Malaysian Life Insurance and Family Takaful Advisors (Namlifa).

KKJA chairman Yong Ted Phen, organising chairman Jimmy Goh and secretary Chuah Kim Huat called on the advisors and sponsors recently.

In addition, KKJA also received sponsorships from the Minister of Community Development and Consumer Affairs Datuk Jainab Ahmad Ayid, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) vice president Datuk Chin Shu Ying, Markmaju Corp Sdn Bhd and McDonald's franchisee Datuk Harry Teo, Sabah Electrical Association president Bunny Teh B.N, Titanium Safe Deposit Box, Port View Euro Bakery managing director Foo Hoe Weng, Viz4 Interior Design & Build Sdn Bhd director Alex Wong, Pan-Pacific Construction Holdings Sdn Bhd's Datuk Chee Chi Seng and Vinzari Automotive Sdn Bhd.

Jainab sponsored 10 hampers whereas Chin contributed 10 sets of 3D wooden puzzle as lucky draw prizes.

Pan-Pacific Construction Holdings Sdn Bhd, the management of Centre Point Sabah, sponsored an iPad Air 2 and an Olympus camera, Chee contributed a Canon DSLR camera while Vinzari Automotive Sdn Bhd gave away a Samsung Tab.

Meanwhile, Titanium Safe Deposit Box sponsored free one-year rental for 10 safe deposit boxes. For KKJA members who did not win this prize, the company is offering 15 per cent discount on the annual rental of safe deposit box.

On the other hand, Teo sponsored McDonald's vouchers while Foo contributed three mooncake gift packs for lucky draw as well as 10 large mooncakes to be cut during the event.

The Press Night will be held at E-West Restaurant, Luyang, starting 6.30pm.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Raymond Tan Shu Kiah, Minister of Special Tasks Datuk Teo Chee Kang, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Edward Yong Oui Fah, Senator Datuk Chin Su Phin, Mayor Datuk Yeo Boon Hai, KKJA legal advisors, honorary advisors, medical advisor, advisors, sponsors and members of their families will also be attending the event.

KKJA has also invited young, talented singers, Annabelle Voo Pei Pei and Emily Chee, to perform during the event.
