Mahathir says may team up with Anwar

Putra Jaya: The Registrar of Societies Friday presented the registration approval certificate to the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM). The certificate was later showed to the media by the party's pro-tem President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who had earlier led the PPBM pro-tem committee members in giving the ROS the clarification regarding the roles and functions of the party's president and chairman. Muhyiddin also thanked the ROS and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Home Minister, for approving the party's registration application within 30 days.

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is PPBM Chairman, when asked said that he would not rule out the possibility of collaborating with his former deputy, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in facing the next general election. He said efforts were being done to get all opposition parties to come together as one so that there would not be any three-corner fights in general election. – Bernama
