Kuala Lumpur: Private Pension Administrator Malaysia (PPA) has appointed Husaini Hussin as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective Oct 1, 2016. In a statement Thursday, it said Husaini was replacing Datuk Steve Ong, whose tenure had ended.Prior to his appointment, Husaini was PPA Chief Operating Officer, a post he held since the institution's inception in October 2012.

"He was one of the key personnel responsible for the setting up of PPA's operations. "He oversaw the area of central administration covering operations, member services, information technology and systems, as well as the development to fruition of PPA's new online service, PRS Online Top Up," it said.
Prior to joining PPA, Husaini spent 20 years working with Petronas and Royal Dutch Shell and a global consulting firm, KPMG Consulting.PPA is an institution approved by the Securities Commission as the appointed central administrator for Private Retirement Schemes (PRS) to provide online access to members' accounts and lifetime account management while serving as a one-stop resource centre on PRS in Malaysia. – Bernama
