Putra Jaya: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin urged all officials including coaches and players under the National Football Development Programme (NFDP) to maintain their discipline. Khairy when commenting on the issue of NFDP director Lim Teong Kim's decision to pull out his Under-14 squad from a friendly match against Pohang Steelers FC during half time had drawn criticism from various parties.It was reported that Teong Kim was unhappy with Pohang Steelers for fielding overaged players and decided to withdraw his players when trailing 0-4 at half time.ADVERTISEMENT "I have asked the NFDP secretariat to prepare a complete report and send it to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
