KBS hopes to receive over RM500 million

Kuala Lumpur: The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) hopes the government will provide sufficient allocation in Budget 2017, particularly for hosting the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games and the Asean Para Games.Its minister, Khairy Jamaluddin said he had met with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak last week to present the ministry's needs for 2017."The SEA Games and the Asean Para Games would cost over RM500 million while the Podium programme would need another RM30 million.
