AirAsia bags 2 awards at World Travel Awards

Kuala Lumpur: Low-cost carrier AirAsia was named "Asia's Leading Low-Cost Airline" for the fourth time and also won its first "Asia's Leading Inflight Service" award at the World Travel Awards (Asia and Australasia) in Da Nang, Vietnam on Saturday.AirAsia Group Chief Executive Officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said the airline's success shows that its service is not only best-in-class, but also the best of both low-cost and full-service."We have only just started. We have many more innovative ideas that we're working on right now to make our inflight service even better," he said in a statement Tuesday.
