Man cheats death in Beluran car-bus collision

Beluran: A 57-year-old man only sustained minor injuries although the Proton Saga he was driving was severely damaged after it collided with an express bus at Km 16, along Jalan Telupid-Beluran on Tuesday.Beluran Police Chief Supt. Shivananthan R. Velautham said the driver suffered light injuries on his shoulder and fingers and was treated as an outpatient in a health clinic in Telupid.In the 11.25am incident, he said the Proton Saga driver was coming from Beluran to Telupid while the express bus was heading to Kota Kinabalu from Sandakan.
