Kuala Lumpur: Coca Cola Malaysia has signed a new beverage concession agreement with Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd (GSC), extending their almost three-decade partnership for another five years. In a joint statement Thursday, they said, all GSC concession counters nationwide would offer Fanta, Sprite, A&W Sarsaparilla, Minute Maid Pulpy, Coca Light, Coca Light Zero and Coca Cola.

Coca Cola's Bottling Investment Group Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei Chief Executive Officer, Stephen James Lusk, said the partnership was part of the company's continued commitment to its Malaysian customers, where it had already invested RM1 billion between 2010 and 2016.

"We want to grow further in Malaysia and to do that, we must be a part of the growth strategies of our business partners," he said.

GSC, which has a market share of over 40 per cent, owns 306 screens in 33 locations and a seating capacity of over 51,000 in Malaysia. – Bernama
