10 scramblers to boost Esscom surveillance

Kuala Lumpur: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) on Tuesday received 10 Kawasaki KLX250 motorcycles to boost surveillance by the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom).Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the contribution came from Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV).Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

"These machines will enable more extensive patrolling by police including in the Felda plantations to curb crime," he said after receiving the motorbikes from FGV Chairman, Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad.

Mohd Isa said the contribution was made as FGV understood the difficulties faced by police in conducting patrols in hilly areas towards improve security control.
