'DAP didn't give me senior post'
Kota Kinabalu: PARTY vice president Junz Wong (pic) for the first time revealed that he left fellow opposition DAP to join Warisan because the peninsula-based party never offered him a senior position. He also said his former party failed to implement many of his ideas and suggestions.

"That's why I discussed with Shafie to form a new party and together we aim to form a new government to help the people," he said.

He denied talk that he joined Warisan because of money.

It was learnt that some 5,100 former Umno and Parti Cinta Sabah members have joined the party.

The breakdown was 2,300 former Umno members in Keningau and 2,000 from Pensiangan whereas 800 were formerly PCS members from Liawan.

Registration forms were submitted by Dato Awang Jasrin from Keningau, former Pensiangan Umno member Ampulas Kaluhu and head coordinator of PCS Liawan Melvin Datuk Jaikol Imbayan.
