Penampang: A King Cobra measuring about 15-metres long was found confronting six dogs at the backyard of a house in Taman Kolopis, Penampang here, on Tuesday.The house owner, Mackery Victor told Daily Express on Tuesday that he was shocked to see a King Cobra, said to be the world's longest venomous snake, facing his dogs."Upon reaching home, I heard barking at the back of my house and when I went to find out what was going on, I was surprised to see that my dogs were barking and intimidating a King Cobra.

For fear my safety and family, I immediately contacted the Civil Defence Force (APM) to seek their assistance," he said.
